don't let them.
It was in you that they were born.

Say a prayer,
chant,
cry,
crawl,
walk,
run,
pour salt on them,
drown them,
crush them under your heel,
claw at them,
burn them,
beg them,
beseech them,
say your petitions,
make amends,
negotiate,
argue,
fight,
argue again,
shout and scream,
scream till you are hoarse.

I don't care.

But face them,
your demons.
They want to consume you,
don't let them.
It was in you that they were born,
let it be in you that they die.
